This article presents the rehabilitation procedure, divided into: therapeutic sessions in a physiotherapy office and sessions at the patient’s home, designed for a dog with tetraplegia with polyradiculoneuritis and secondary steroid diabetes mellitus. The task of long-term rehabilitation approach was to restore normal muscular fitness and gait. The owners have been prepared professionally to care for the patient in its everyday life, i.e. to maintain proper hygiene, to avoid bedsores, to care for recumbent a lying dog, and to choose the best bedding. The applied physiotherapy contributed to the patient’s recovery.
